Get help for DUI, call Solomon Neuhardt!

DUI or Driving Under the Influence of alcohol or drugs is a major criminal offense in all states. In a survey of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, there are over 17,000 people who have died in alcohol related accidents in the year 2006. Because of this, several states have already filed laws against it penalizing those who are caught with jail time, or large fines.

DUI laws in different states have different provisions, as such, the law in Arizona might not be the same as in Montana. Because of this, if you are charged with DUI, it is important that you get a lawyer who is an expert in the law of the state where you are charged. Thankfully, in Montana, Solomon Neurhardt is available to give you legal counsel. If you decide to hire him, he will explain to you the legal steps you will need to do and help you plan a counter attack your charge.

Now that you know how to go about your case, the next thing you need to do is attend your court arraignment. This is very important because you will have a chance to get your case dismissed as long as you follow proper procedures, court attendance being one of them.

Other ways your case can be dismissed is through incorrect field sobriety testing. Contrary to common belief, there are actually a number of DUI cases which were dismissed because of an improper conduct of routine sobriety testing, and this is done with the help of a good DUI attorneay such as Solomon Neurhardt, who will not only represent you in court, but will also help you understand the DUI law so you can avoid any future problems.

When you get arrested, remember one cardinal rule: do not let the police interview you unless you’ve already spoken to a lawyer – this is your right as an American.

Christmas traditions bring cheer

Although Christmas celebrates the birth of Christ, even people of other faiths enjoy many of the Christmas traditions. Besides having religious significance for Christians, Christmas season also brings cheer and joy to almost all corners of the world irrespective of the faith. The lights, colors, music and festivities associated with Christmas have a way of lifting one’s spirits even if he belongs to a different faith. I, for one, love the Christmassy look that shops, malls and streets take on. I love to walk around my block, observing the lights on each house and taking note of what’s new this year. I like to visit different malls just to see the different ways Christmas trees are decorated. Although I belong to a different faith, I can relate to and appreciate the feelings that abound, around Christmas time. The spirit of giving, sharing, loving. Family members traveling long distances to be home for Christmas. Parents cutting back on expenses and tighten their budgets so they can keep their promises to their children on Christmas. Christmas brings out the generous streak in almost everybody. It’s not only about shopping for one’s family, but also about giving to the less fortunate. Helping just once a year may not be enough, but at least Christmas is one occasion that drives people to think about lending a hand. This is the perfect time to teach children about giving and helping the needy. Instead of asking Santa for gifts for themselves, why not encourage kids to become Santas for a few less fortunate kids? Even giving away their old toys is a good start. There is so much about Christmas that is universal. So, this Christmas, like every year, I will put up a tree, buy gifts for my friends and kids, watch mushy Christmas movies on TV, volunteer at the food bank and cook a special meal for my family. Oh, and I will definitely be sending out free Christmas ecards from gotfreecards.com to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

History of Laguna Woods Village, formerly Leisure World

Leisure World, Laguna Hills, California (now referred to as Laguna Woods Village in the City of Laguna Woods) is the nation’s leading planned residential community for seniors. It was conceived and developed by Ross W. Cortese, who built the first Leisure World in Seal Beach, California in 1960. Cortese, a man of unlimited vision, believed that a void in housing existed for a person age 52 and over.

To find out what Seniors wanted he talked to civic leaders, doctors, clergy and groups of older people. He discovered that Seniors, those 52 and over, wanted a fresh new start in their lives after raising a family, fulfilling a career and, basically, just wanted to be free of household duties and the maintenance and up keep of a home. They wanted to enjoy their “Golden Years”!

Based on his research Cortese, working with a team of planners, architects, builders and designers, started Leisure World in Laguna Hills in 1963. His concept was to build a community that would cater to the needs of seniors.

The first manor (residence) was completed in November 1964 and the last manor in September 1980. Leisure World (the name was changed to Laguna Woods Village in October 2005) has approximately (2008 figure) 18,000 people who live in one of the 12,736 residential units (6,323 co-ops, 6102 condos and 311 units in two tower buildings), 7 clubhouse (originally 6 were constructed, but a 7th was added in 2005), 5 swimming pools, 10 tennis courts, 2 golf courses, an equestrian center, 10 craft shops, 2 garden centers, 2 RV storage areas, a library, 2 fully equipped fitness centers and over 200 clubs and organizations for residents to participate in. Add to this a “free” community bus service and a residence security service that patrols the 2,095 acres and mans the various entrance gates.

When completed Leisure World contained all the elements that Ross Cortese had envisioned in the early 1960’s, security, access to local health care facilities, nearby shopping, good transportation, cultural events and programs, excellent housing, recreational and educational opportunities and various other activities designed for Seniors to ensure their freedom and the opportunity to enjoy their “Golden Years”.

Right now it is a “buyer’s market” and we have many fine homes ranging in price from $122,000 on up to $350,000.  Patrick McNamee of Century 21 Rainbow Realty is an expert in this area, please check out his web site to get more real estate information about this active senior community: www.leisureworldre.com

4 Ways Debt Collectors Break The Law

Here are some of the main tactics that are now illegal under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, more commonly referred to as the FDCPA. Learn more about the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act – FDCPA – and how it protects you from debt harassment. Visit FairDebtHelpers.com for a free evaluation of your case by an experienced fair debt attorney. 1. If a debt collector continues to contact you after you have told them in writing that you are not going to pay the debt, that is breaking the law. 2. If a debt collector contacts you after you have made him or her aware that you are represented by an attorney, that is breaking the law. 3. If a debt collector implies he or she is an attorney when they are not, that is breaking the law. 4. If a debt collector tries to collect more than is owed, that is breaking the law. Virtually all of us are debtors to some extent or another, and this law was passed to stop harassment and threats being made by debt collectors to take advantage of people who are disputing that they owe a debt, or are simply unable to pay because of their financial circumstances. Know your rights before discussing your situation with any debt collector. Be sure to keep a careful record of all contacts you have with anyone attempting to collect a debt from you. And if you are being harassed, discuss your case with an attorney who specializes in debt relief law. This is a serious issue and should be reported if you think that you’ve experienced it.

Save Money with International Call Back Phone Service

International call-back phone service, sometimes called International Callback or simply call-back, is a service for making low cost international calls from virtually any country where a telephone is available. Callback can be used form any phone that can receive an incoming call including VoIP or Cell Phones. International calls using call-back are cheaper in most international locations since the calls are initiated in a third country, usually the United States, where call charges are considerably lower. The local high cost monopoly phone company is therefore by-passed and the caller pays the lower United States rate for the call.

How Does International Callback Work?

As the name implies, callback phone service works by initiating a call from the United States or another third country where international calling rates are cheap. There are at least three methods for initiating a call using International Callback. The method of callback initiation depends on the type of callback service the subscriber is using. The following is a short description of three types of call-back services.

· The first type of callback service is what we call traditional Callback. Using this type of service a caller opens an account with a Callback Service provider, registers their phone number and is assigned a callback number in the United States or another third country. When the subscriber wants to place a call they call their assigned number from their registered phone and let the phone ring once and hang up before the call is answered. The computer recognizes them by their registered phone number and calls them back. When the subscriber answers the phone they are on the callback service provider’s phone system and place their call as if they are in the United States. A subscriber typically has access to their callback account on-line so they can change or add registered phone numbers as needed. They can also review their call history and other account details.

· A second type of callback is often referred to as SMS callback or SMS call. This is similar to traditional callback except the subscriber initiates or triggers a call by sending an SMS message from their cell phone. The message contains the subscriber’s phone number and the number they wish to call. The callback system recognizes the SMS message and calls the subscriber and connects them with the number they wish to call.

· A third type of callback is referred to as Web Call or INTERNET Callback. To initiate a callback using Web Call a subscriber simple logs into their account on a website and enter the phone number they are calling from and the phone number they want to call. The computer recognizes them and calls their phone number and connects them with the phone number they want to call.

All three types of callback have positive and negative points. Traditional callback will work in almost any location where telephone service is available. However, some countries try to block traditional callback so they can continue to charge high rates for international calls made through their monopoly phone companies. SMS Call will work from cell phones in many countries but it is not available in every country. Web Call can be used in any country where the caller has access to the INTERNET. Web Call cannot be blocked since the call is triggered over the INTERNET and the caller is just receiving a phone call from the United States.
