For most people with the internet the local news just doesn’t cut it for us anymore. We want personal in depth stories that most local news broadcasts aren’t willing to cover. Although most blog software nowadays have this options installed by default, so it is usually just a matter of activating them.
Nowadays I prefer blogs over watching the news, simply because I like to get the facts without having to wait through a commercial.

The best answer: as fast as you can! I’ll give you some reasons why.
First, the sooner you get your site up and running, the sooner you can start enjoying the benefits of having a site. This could mean not only increased revenue, but also reduced customer service issues. For example, you can include documentation and help for using your products directly on your website.
Secondly, aged domain names have a tendency to rank higher in Google searches than younger domains. So the older your domain, the better advantage you have in web searches.
Third, once your site is up and running, you can begin promoting it. Since the effects of such promotion are cumulative, and you or your representatives can only do so much every day, you will want to start on promotion as soon as possible. Some of the promotion you can do include articles, video, press releases, commenting on blogs, and forum marketing.
