There are thousands of internet sites dealing with this topic. Unfortunately, finding truly helpful resources online is difficult since different different websites interpret the term "business opportunities" in different ways. If you are trying to reach Small Business Opportunity seakers, or have a product or service that may appeal to Small Business Opportunity seekers, there are many resources online to help you do this. Here is one that may be helpful. Business Opportunities Classifieds In other words, this site is a large compendium of resources dealing with small business opportunities and work at home resources. The core component of this site are the two types of advertising opportunities offered to Small Business Opportunity sites. "Featured Opportunity Links" are displayed prominently on the home page and can be purchased on a per-click basis or on a "duration basis". Per click charges start at around $95 for 200 clicks. That is $.475 per click for this starter package. You can also buy these ads on a month to month basis with featured listings starting at $375 per month. BOCOnline says you can expect anywhere from 5 to 50 click thrus per day, depending on the strength and appeal of your ad. If you consistently got 50 click thrus per day you could conceivably get your pay per click down to around $.25 The main competition for this kind of ad is, of course, Google Adwords. When I used the Adwords keyword tool to calculate the cost for clicks on the keyword "business opportunities" it told me I could expect about 59 clicks a day at about $.56 each. So that means BOCOnline is significantly cheaper. But of course you can only get this cheap (roughly $.25/click) price if you buy a $375 package and you get 50 clicks per day. Judging from their own numbers, that is probably unrealistic. You would probably be better to assume (until you have a track record) a click thru rate of about 30 per day, in which case your average ppc is now about $.42. Still cheaper than Google, but not dramatically cheaper. The other type of ad available at BOCOnline.com is a simple Classified Ad categorized according to sections. These ads start at $25 per month with an annual contract of $150, getting your per month cost down to $12.50/month. The advantage that advertising on a site like BOCOnline.com has is that its traffic is targeted coming in. Presumably people who come to this site are already interested in "Business Opportunities". So the value of a click-thru is higher than it might be in some other context. Other noteworthy features of this site include a Business Articles section, and a Link Diretory. The Link Directory seems like a particularly good deal given that your text ad listing is free, there are currently not very many links in the directory, and I can report that the link to my own site (small-business-online.com) consistently shows up in my Google backlinks.
